Sustainable Plant-Based Dog Food
The Pack plant-based dog food
In November 2020, Lily’s Kitchen (now owned by Nestle Purina); realised the need to produce a plant-based range to their Lily’s Kitchen dog foods and they released the very popular Lily’s Kitchen Rainbow Stew aimed at dogs wanting to go flexitarian.
Being a predominantly meat-based company, they did not research all the requirements and additions needed in a plant-based diet such as extra Taurine, Methionine and L-Carnitine.
In September 2021, The Pack UK based company launched a fully vegan and completely balanced plant-based tinned food. They have the backing of some large companies and have researched the ingredients fully to be completely balanced and ideal for all owners either wanting flexibility with feeding their dogs sustainably occasionally or balanced enough to be fed this diet exclusively.
